Red Sand is an area of red desert sand dunes in northeastern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The area is a weekend destination among Saudis, expatriates and Filipino workers. The area known as Hidden Valley is surrounded by tall mountains which gives a valley look.
Actually the Red Sand is now mostly frequented by Filipino expatriates than of other nationalities and Saudis. It is really fun especially if you are maneuvering (All-terrain vehicle) ATV Bike in the hilly area.
These desert valley is located in Al Muzahmiyah and from central Riyadh, it is estimated for a one-hour drive by car or bus to be there. But the long travel is worth it.
